🌕 Join us for the first full moon of 2023! Come and enjoy a Heart Opening Cacao Ceremony & Five Element Ecstatic Dance to embrace the full moon in Cancer and to start 2023 with a transformative, fun, deep and invigorating ceremony.

🌕 This full moon is about feeling of lightness, a sweet exhale after a long period of heaviness. If you’ve felt stuck or heavy for a long time, this full moon can feel like a breath of fresh air, and a welcomed change of pace.

🌕 We are also asked in this full moon to connect to our inner mother archetype, to find space to nurture, love and respect ourselves fully. To holding ourselves in high regards, to being our own safe space and only allowing in what is good, healthy and supportive for our well-being and lives.

🍫 What is a Cacao Ceremony? 🍵

Cacao Ceremonies are practiced to open your heart. Traditionally Cacao Ceremonies have been practiced by ancient cultures like the Maya and Aztec civilization, where ancient shamans were leading the ceremonies. 

For a Cacao Ceremony you receive a ceremonial prepared cacao, which is a high quality raw cacao bar melted in purified water or a plant based liquid. 

Additionally in the process of slowly heating up the cacao, you connect with the spirit of Cacao

It is believed that the spirit of cacao has the power to reveal and unlock the secrets of the soul, bringing forth our ultimate truth in a loving way that is immediate and lasting.

What is the Five Elements Dance?

As the cacao medicine opens your heart, you will be guided through an ecstatic dance journey through the five elements, Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Ether.

As we move through each element, we’ll find ways to express our deep feelings and inner wisdom through movements, dance and connection.

We will meet at the Orion Circle Shala at 6:45-6-50 to be ready to start 7pm sharp. The shala is sheltered from rain and food and drinks are available in the Orion café before the ceremony.

✔️ Preparing for the ceremony:

To experience the full effects of the Cacao Medicine, please eat lightly on the day of the ceremony. Avoid stimulants such as coffee or alcohol and fast for a minimum of four hours before we begin.

This is a high energy dance so please bring a sarong or towel if you tend to get sweaty.

👯‍♀️ The Team:

Nola Bloom is a Yoga Teacher and Cacao Ceremony Facilitator with over ten years experience in sharing the spirit of the cacao medicine. Her main stomping grounds for her wildly fun five elements dance has been at The Sanctuary Resort on Koh Phangan where she was one of the main facilitators for the infamous Friday night Cacao Ceremonies for many years.

Also a professional hoop dancer and circus performer, her playful spirit creates a unique dance ritual that gives permission for participants to really let go and dive deep into the journey of the five elements.

Kaye Smith, a passionate ceremonial cacao lover and dancer will be co-facilitating the ceremony and journey as Nola’s apprentice and she learns to hold space and guide participants through this incredible heart-opening journey.
